Cinemachine & Trailer/Opening

Having a cinematic (albeit simple) can be impactful for a game to have. It can be a way to show off the artwork and give the game more personality. For the first build of the cinematic, I simply used the weapons that our illustrator/animator created and planted them on the bottom of the screen to try and replicate the slamming down of these weapons into the ground. After that, the camera would pan up to the title and the cinematic will lead into the title card. To do that, a timeline was created in Unity and every object in the scene will have an animator. Every animator will work its function on the timeline one after the other (whether it be slamming down diagonally, or panning up). The biggest issue that arose with this though was a bug where the objects will stay static in between key frames despite having their function be defined.
